Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Xiaomi 12, with an 88.2 score against 78.8. Huawei P40 Pro's design is older, heavier and a bit thicker than Xiaomi 12. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a way better performance than Xiaomi 12. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Xiaomi 12 features a little bit better screen than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a just a bit worse pixel quantity per inch of screen, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit smaller display.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, the same video quality and a same resolution camera in the back, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
The Huawei P40 Pro's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to the Xiaomi 12 one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi 12 has just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
