Comparison review
The Moto G 5G Plus is a bit better than Xiaomi 12, with an 82.6 score against 78.8. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, it must be noted that it's also an older, a bit thicker and heavier cellphone. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a slightly better display than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a quite greater pixel count in each display inch.
Motorola Moto G 5G Plus features a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi 12, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1000 GB. Moto G 5G Plus has a very superior performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Xiaomi 12 counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor which gives a lot better photo and video quality, a way better video definition and a more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with just a little better battery duration than Xiaomi 12, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
