Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 has an overall score of 79.6, which is a bit better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 global score. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy A40 is notably older than Xiaomi 12, it's body is extremely lighter and just a bit thinner. Both phones in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy A40 has older 11 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12.
The Galaxy A40 has a much better performing processor than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little bit worse pixel count in each inch of screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi 12 shoots greater pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much larger sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality, a back facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot higher video definition.
Samsung Galaxy A40 has a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi 12 features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 45% bigger battery size.
