Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than the Xiaomi 12, having a global score of 87 against 78.8. Even being the best in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, a little thicker and a little heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12.
Xiaomi 12 counts with an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a lot greater pixels count per inch of screen. Galaxy A42 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1000 GB.
Galaxy A42 has a lot better processing power than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photos and video, it also counts with a way higher video definition and a back camera with a higher resolution.
Galaxy A42 features a little better battery life than Xiaomi 12, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
