Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 general score. Despite being the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it's also an a lot older, just a little bit thicker and a little heavier device. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version.
Xiaomi 12 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a much lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit worse pixels amount in each display inch, they both have a display of the same size. Galaxy Note8 features an extremely better CPU than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi 12 has a lot better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera, a way larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a much higher video resolution. The Galaxy Note8 has a slightly bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi 12, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Xiaomi 12 features longer battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
