Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12 has an overall score of 78.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy XCover 5's 78.1 global score. Even though the Xiaomi 12 is a bit heavier than Galaxy XCover 5, it's thinner and also newer. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi 12 has the newer 12 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11.
The Xiaomi 12 has a brighter display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a better pixels density and a bigger display. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi 12, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Galaxy XCover 5 has an extremely better CPU than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 12 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video definition and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Xiaomi 12 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
