Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a global score of 83.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12's general score of 78.8. Sony Xperia 1 VI's design is a lot thinner and notably lighter than Xiaomi 12. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 VI has 14 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version.
Xiaomi 12 and Xperia 1 VI count with extremely similar processors, and although the Xperia 1 VI has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a bit better display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400, a lot worse display density and a quite smaller display.
The Xperia 1 VI has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12, because it has 256 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi 12 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1 VI, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have a same size aperture, the Xiaomi 12 also counts with a way better video resolution and a more MP camera in the back.
The Xperia 1 VI has just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi 12, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size.
