Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12, having a score of 79.8 against 78.8. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12. Xperia Z5 Premium's design is a little bit thinner than Xiaomi 12, although it's just a bit heavier and was released many years before.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a way higher screen density. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a way better performance than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Xiaomi 12 counts with more storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi 12 has longer battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3430mAh.
The Xiaomi 12 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and video, it also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera, a lot higher video definition and a lot bigger sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality.
