Comparison review
Xiaomi 12 has a score of 78.8, which is a bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's global score of 76.1. Even though Xiaomi 12 and the TCL 20 Pro 5G were only released 8 months apart, Xiaomi 12 is just a little lighter and thinner. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Xiaomi 12 has a newer 12 version and TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11 version, so it counts with some extra features.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Xiaomi 12 features a better screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Xiaomi 12 also counts with a just a little better display pixels density.
Xiaomi 12 features a bit better camera than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a much larger camera sensor which offers a way better image and video quality, a back-facing camera with a better 50 mega pixels resolution and a way higher 7680x4320 video quality.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi 12, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB. The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a battery performance that is very similar to Xiaomi 12's battery lifetime.
