Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12S's general score of 72.9. The Huawei Mate 8 has a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi 12S, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12S features a better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bit bigger screen, a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a bit better pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi 12S, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Huawei Mate 8 takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi 12S, although it has a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels.
Xiaomi 12S has a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
