Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than the Xiaomi 12S, getting a general score of 78.1 against 72.9. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has an older 11 version and Xiaomi 12S has Android 12. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a much faster CPU than Xiaomi 12S, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Xiaomi 12S features a brighter display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher display density, a larger display and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Galaxy XCover 5 has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12S, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy XCover 5 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi 12S, although it has a camera with a much worse 16 megapixels resolution. Xiaomi 12S has a way better battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 50% greater battery capacity.
