Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a general score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12S's 72.9 global score. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi 12S has Android 12. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much better hardware performance than Xiaomi 12S, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Xiaomi 12S has a better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a just a bit higher display density and a bit bigger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro captures clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi 12S, although it has a way less mega pixels resolution camera.
The Xiaomi 12S has a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi 12S counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
