Comparison review
Xiaomi 12S Ultra is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 8, having a overall score of 81 against 79.5. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra construction is much lighter and way thinner than Asus ROG Phone 8. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS, but Xiaomi 12S Ultra has the previous 12 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Asus ROG Phone 8 both feature extremely similar CPUs, and although the Asus ROG Phone 8 has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra features just a bit better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has much darker display and a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a better 1440 x 3200 resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, both of them have equal internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and although they both have the same video quality, the same video frame rate and a 50 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a lot larger sensor and a bigger aperture.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a little longer battery duration than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
