Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5s has a score of 84.9, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12X's score of 77.8. The Asus ROG Phone 5s is better than the Xiaomi 12X, we must highlight that it is also thicker and a lot heavier. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 5s has the newer 12 version and Xiaomi 12X has Android 11 version, so it provides a couple additional features and improved performance.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi 12X. They have a 8 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 5s has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi 12X, because although it has a little bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a quite bigger display, a little more brightness and a bit higher 1080 x 2448 resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 5s takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi 12X, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a camera with a way better 64 mega pixels resolution, higher video frame rates and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited environments.
Asus ROG Phone 5s has as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as the Xiaomi 12X, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 5s has greater battery lifetime than Xiaomi 12X, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4500mAh.
