Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the Xiaomi 12X, having a 79.5 score against 77.8. Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better phone than Xiaomi 12X, it must be noted that it's also an extremely older, just a bit thicker and a little bit heavier phone. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi 12X has Android 11 version, counting with a couple additional features and optimized performance.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi 12X, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12X features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a much better video definition and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
Xiaomi 12X counts with a bit better battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
