Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the Xiaomi 12X, having a 79.5 score against 77.8. Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better phone than Xiaomi 12X, it must be noted that it's also an extremely older, just a bit thicker and a little bit heavier phone. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi 12X has Android 11 version, counting with a couple additional features and optimized performance.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi 12X, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12X has a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little higher display pixel density, more display brightness and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Huawei Mate 20 has as much memory capacity to install games and applications as the Xiaomi 12X one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage. The Xiaomi 12X features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a much better video definition and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
Xiaomi 12X counts with a bit better battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
