Comparison review
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a global score of 84.4, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's overall score of 79.5. Both devices we are comparing here come with the same Android 14 OS (operating system). Although Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the Asus ROG Phone 8 were released only 2 months apart, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra body is just a bit thicker but just a little bit lighter than the Asus ROG Phone 8.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a bit better display than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels number per inch in the display, a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and a little bit brighter screen. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the Asus ROG Phone 8 have similar storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have the same internal memory.

Asus ROG Phone 8 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 7680x4320 video quality and a back camera with a 50 megapixels resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photos.
