Comparison review
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a score of 84.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12 Pro's 79.6 global score. Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a notably newer phone than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but it is somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has the newer 14 version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12.
Xiaomi 12 Pro's processing unit is just as good as Xiaomi 14 Ultra's CPU, and although the Xiaomi 12 Pro has 4 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a more vivid display than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have a display of the same size, exactly the same 1440 x 3200 resolution and the same screen density, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra also has a much brighter display.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, because although it has worse 24 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos and/or video in low light environments, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also counts with a much larger back camera sensor.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi 14 Ultra has just a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
