Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 14's overall score of 79.4. Both phones we are comparing here have the same Android 14 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that. Even though Asus ROG Phone 8 is better than the Xiaomi 14, we must tell that it's also just a bit thicker and heavier.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a processor that is just as good as Xiaomi 14's CPU, and although the Asus ROG Phone 8 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Xiaomi 14 has a bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1200 x 2670 pixels resolution, a quite more brightness and a just a little better display pixels density.

Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi 14, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity instead of 4610mAh.
Xiaomi 14 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have the same 24 frames per second video frame rates, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 7680x4320 video resolution, the Xiaomi 14 also has a larger aperture to capture better photos in low light environments and a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs.
