Xiaomi 14 has an overall score of 79.4, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 lite's 76.2 overall score. Xiaomi 14 is a much newer phone than Huawei Mate 20 lite, but it's just a little thicker and a little heavier. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi 14 has older 14 version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Xiaomi 14 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a little bit better display pixels density, a little bit larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1200 x 2670px. The Xiaomi 14 features more memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a very superior processing power than Xiaomi 14, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi 14 features superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 23% greater battery size. Xiaomi 14 has a way better camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a way better 7680x4320 video definition, a larger aperture for better low-light photos and a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.
