Comparison review
Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 14's 79.4 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has older 11 version while Xiaomi 14 has Android 14. Despite being the best in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also noticeably older, a bit thicker and a little bit heavier.
Xiaomi 14 has a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way greater pixel quantity per inch of display and a much better 1200 x 2670 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi 14, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Galaxy A42 has a much faster processor than Xiaomi 14, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi 14 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A42, because it has a bigger aperture for better low light images and videos, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a back facing camera with more MP.
The Galaxy A42 has just a little better battery life than Xiaomi 14, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
