Comparison review
The Xiaomi 14 is slightly better than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, having a overall score of 79.4 against 78.7. The Xiaomi 14 construction is newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi 14 has a more recent 14 version and Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has Android 12 version, providing you a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Xiaomi 14, they have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores. The Xiaomi 14 has a lot better looking screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1200 x 2670 resolution and a little greater display density.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with as much memory for games and applications as Xiaomi 14, both have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a battery duration that's very similar to Xiaomi 14's battery performance, although the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also has a 1 percent more battery capacity.
Xiaomi 14 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture, a much bigger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos and a much higher video quality.
