The Xiaomi 14 has a general score of 79.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's 78.1 score. The Xiaomi 14 construction is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's, but it's somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Xiaomi 14 has 14 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a very superior processing power than Xiaomi 14, although it has 4 less cpu cores (although they are faster) and 2 GB less RAM. The Xiaomi 14 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a little larger screen, way more brightness, a little more pixels per display inch and a higher 1200 x 2670 resolution.
The Xiaomi 14 has much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi 14 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a camera with lot more mega-pixels, a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much higher 7680x4320 video definition and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments.
The Xiaomi 14 features better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 4610mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
