Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 15 Pro's 81.3 overall score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Xiaomi 15 Pro has Android 14. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy M40 is a lot older than the Xiaomi 15 Pro, it's body is incredibly lighter and a little bit thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a really superior hardware performance than Xiaomi 15 Pro, although it has 6 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi 15 Pro has a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3200, a little larger display and a better screen pixels density.
Xiaomi 15 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because it has a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot higher resolution back facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light images. Galaxy M40 has a little bit better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 15 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi 15 Pro features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 74 percent greater battery size.
