Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is a bit better than Xiaomi 15's 80.6 global score. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Xiaomi 15 has Android 14. Galaxy M40's construction is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than the Xiaomi 15, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
Xiaomi 15 has a lot better looking display than Galaxy M40, because it has a little better pixels count per display inch, a quite larger display and a slightly better resolution of 1200 x 2670px. Galaxy M40 has just a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi 15, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a much more powerful CPU than Xiaomi 15, although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi 15 shoots better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a lot higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a much higher video definition and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photography and video.
The Xiaomi 15 counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy M40, because it has a 5400mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
