Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 VI is a bit better than the Xiaomi 15, having a general score of 83.2 against 80.6. Sony Xperia 1 VI is a a lot lighter and incredibly thinner cellphone than Xiaomi 15. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 14 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
Xiaomi 15 has a lot better display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a quite worse display density, a little bit smaller display and a way lower resolution of 1200 x 2670px. Sony Xperia 1 VI has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi 15, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xiaomi 15 feature extremely similar CPUs, both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores. The Xperia 1 VI takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi 15, although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs or video in poorly lited environments, a lot worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera in the back with a worse resolution.
The Xiaomi 15 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Xperia 1 VI, because it has 5400mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
