The Xiaomi 15 has a global score of 80.6, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's general score of 75.8. Xiaomi 15's body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it's just a little bit heavier. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi 15 has the older 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Xiaomi 15 features a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a slightly higher 1200 x 2670 resolution, a little bit better count of pixels per inch of display and a bit bigger display. Xiaomi 15 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much powerful processing unit than Xiaomi 15, although it has 6 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 15 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a way higher video resolution, a way more megapixels camera and a way larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations.
The Xiaomi 15 counts with a much better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 5400mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
