Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro's general score of 78.7. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro is an incredibly older cellphone than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, but Xiaomi managed to make it a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has Android 12, so it gives some additional features and performance enhancements.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. They have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little better number of pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because it has more internal storage. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has a way smaller back camera sensor taking way lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have a same size aperture, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features just a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity.
