The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a global score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 general score. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it is just a little heavier.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also counts with a little more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a bit more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same sensor size and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has a way higher (4K) video quality.
