Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8, with an 82.3 score against 79.5. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is a just a little lighter phone than the Asus ROG Phone 8, but both of them are 0.35inches thick. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger display, much more brightness and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a very superior processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 takes clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a more mega pixels camera in the back, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much larger camera sensor capturing lot better quality photos.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better battery life than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has a 38 percent larger battery capacity.
