Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, with a score of 83 against 82.3. These phones work with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 8 has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has Android 10 version. Asus ZenFone 8 is a somewhat lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, but they are equally thin.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bit better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater pixel density, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and much more display brightness. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a CPU that's just as good as the processing unit in Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although the Asus ZenFone 8 has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cores.
The Asus ZenFone 8's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Xiaomi Black Shark 2's one, they have the same 128 GB internal storage. The Asus ZenFone 8's battery lifetime is just as good as Xiaomi Black Shark 2's battery performance. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality, a way higher 7680x4320 video definition and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
