The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, with an 82.3 score against 79.5. Both phones we are comparing come with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, we must note that it's also a bit heavier and a bit thicker.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixel density and a bit worse 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution, it also counts with much more display brightness and a little bit bigger display. The Huawei Mate 20 features as much memory capacity to install applications and games as Xiaomi Black Shark 2, they have equal 128 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a F1.8 aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a back-facing camera with a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality.
Huawei Mate 20 and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 both count with very similar battery performance.
