Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, with an 84.3 score against 82.3. Even though LG G8 ThinQ and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 were released with only a few months difference, LG G8 ThinQ is lighter and just a bit thinner. These devices work with Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has Android 10 version, so it counts with some additional features.
The LG G8 ThinQ's processor is just as good as the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 one, and although the LG G8 ThinQ has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The LG G8 ThinQ has a better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px, a greater pixel density and a brighter display.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a superior camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality and a camera with lot more mega pixels.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has just a bit longer battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery capacity.
