Comparison review
LG G8S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2's global score of 82.3. LG G8S ThinQ's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, even when both of them were released only a couple months apart. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8S ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has Android 10 version, providing you some additional features.
The LG G8S ThinQ's processor is just as good as the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 one, and although the LG G8S ThinQ has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a little sharper screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a quite better display density, a bit larger display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 takes better photographs and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also counts with a camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a little longer battery performance than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3550mAh.
