Comparison review
The LG G8X ThinQ is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, getting a global score of 82.7 against 82.3. Although LG G8X ThinQ and the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 were released with only 7 months difference, LG G8X ThinQ is just a little lighter and just a bit thinner. Both of these devices have the same Android 10 OS.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a processing unit that is just as good as the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 one, and although the LG G8X ThinQ has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a bit sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ. Both of them have a same size display, a higher number of pixels per inch of display and exactly the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a much better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality and a camera in the back with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution.
The LG G8X ThinQ features a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G8X ThinQ and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 count with incredibly similar batteries.
