Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium, with a general score of 82.3 against 79.8. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 design is newer than the Xperia XZ Premium's, but it's a little heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has 4 GB more RAM.
Xperia XZ Premium has a lot better looking screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with much more brightness, a much higher pixel quantity per inch of screen and a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a larger diafragm aperture to take better images in low light environments and a back camera with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a little bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 24% greater battery capacity.
