Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a score of 82.3, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 score. Xiaomi Black Shark 2's construction is somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, even when both were released only a couple months apart. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better screen pixels density, a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and way more brightness. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with more memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 400 GB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 takes much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a camera with much more megapixels and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features just a bit better battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery capacity.
