Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi A3, getting an 82.3 score against 79.2. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi A3 has Android 11. Even being the best device in this review, it must be noted that it's also a little bit thicker and heavier.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a much higher 1080 x 2340px resolution, a better screen density and a bit bigger display.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 takes clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have a 48 mega-pixels camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a larger sensor providing a higher image quality.
Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi A3 and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 have similar battery durations, although the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a 4030mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
