The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a general score of 88.9, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2's 82.3 global score. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a thicker and heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Black Shark 2. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number in each screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has 512 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has a 4050mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality, a way smaller camera sensor which gives a much lower photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels and a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photos.
