The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8, having a general score of 90.1 against 83.3. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro design is newer, but way heavier and much thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8.
Xiaomi Mi 8's CPU is just as good as Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro's processor, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. Xiaomi Mi 8 has a screen that's just as good as the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro one, although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has a way worse 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution, a quite inferior pixel amount per inch in the display and a little smaller display.
Xiaomi Mi 8's storage for applications and games is very similar to the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro one, both of them have equal 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro counts with a superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro also has better 60 fps video frame rate, a camera with a way higher resolution and a much bigger camera sensor taking way higher quality photographs.
