Comparison review
The iPhone 12 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, with a 92.8 score against 88.3. IPhone 12 Pro comes with iOS 15.x OS, while Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with Android 11 OS. Even when the iPhone 12 Pro and Xiaomi Black Shark 4 were only released 7 months apart, the iPhone 12 Pro is somewhat lighter and way thinner.
The Apple iPhone 12 Pro has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a little smaller display and less bright display, it also counts with a slightly better 1170 x 2532px resolution and a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Apple iPhone 12 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser and slower cpu cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.

Although iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Black Shark 4. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
