Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a general score of 88.3, which is better than Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 global score. Xiaomi Black Shark 4's design is a lot newer than Google Pixel 3a XL's, but it is way thicker and much heavier. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System).
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a better looking screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a just a bit worse display pixels density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little bigger screen. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a way better camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a way larger sensor providing a lot better image quality, a much higher resolution back facing camera and faster video frame rates.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features greater battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
