Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a little bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, getting a 90.9 score against 88.3. Although the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 were released with only a few months difference, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro construction is just a bit heavier but also thinner than the Xiaomi Black Shark 4. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has Android 11.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse screen pixels density. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a CPU that's very similar to Xiaomi Black Shark 4's processing unit, they have 8 processing cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking images and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a way larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a more mega-pixels camera.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has 256 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a little longer battery life than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
