Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a global score of 88.3, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8's 83.3 overall score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10, so it counts with a lot of extra features and better performance. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a way newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 8, although it's heavier and noticeably thicker.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixel number per inch of display, it also counts with a little larger screen, way more brightness and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Xiaomi Mi 8 has a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has 128 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels, a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
