Comparison review
The Huawei Nova 9 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, getting an 81 score against 78.7. These devices work with Android OS, but the Huawei Nova 9 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has Android 12 version. Even though the Huawei Nova 9 and the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, the Huawei Nova 9 is thinner and noticeably lighter.
Huawei Nova 9 counts with an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. Both of them have 8 cores and a 8 GB RAM. The Huawei Nova 9 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a just a little lower pixels density, a quite smaller display and a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Nova 9, because it has more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also has a bigger aperture, a much higher resolution camera in the back and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with a bit superior battery life than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 4650mAh battery size.
