Comparison review
Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, getting an 80.8 score against 78.7. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has Android 12 version. The Galaxy S5 is an way older device than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, but Samsung managed to make it much lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a much greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a better pixels quantity per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro captures a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with higher video frame rates, a much more MP back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in poorly lited environments.
