Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has an overall score of 78.7, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZs's global score of 77.2. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro construction is notably newer than the Sony Xperia XZs's, but it is thicker and noticeably heavier. The Xperia XZs has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a bit better display pixel density.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZs, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia XZs counts with a very superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM and lesser cpu cores.
Xperia XZs takes a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a camera in the back with a way worse resolution, a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and video and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 4650mAh battery size instead of 2900mAh.
