Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is just a bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting a score of 78.7 against 76.1. Even though the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is newer than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, it's just a bit thicker and heavier. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has the newer 12 version and TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much faster CPU than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. Both of them have the same amount of pixels in each screen inch, an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a screen of the same size.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal memory, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a slightly better camera than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a way tinier back camera sensor, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera and higher video frame rate.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a little better battery performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity.
