The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, getting a general score of 78.7 against 77.7. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has the previous 12 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Despite being the best in this comparison review, Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is a thicker and much heavier phone than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a much greater performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit better display pixels density.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher 108 MP resolution, better video frame rate and a larger aperture for better low light photos and video.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity.
