Asus ZenFone 7 has a general score of 83.9, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark's 80.4 general score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone 7 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Black Shark has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Asus ZenFone 7 body is much newer, but heavier and a little thicker than Xiaomi Black Shark.
Asus ZenFone 7 counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little larger display and more brightness. The Asus ZenFone 7 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Asus ZenFone 7 has a CPU that is very similar to Xiaomi Black Shark's processor, and although the Asus ZenFone 7 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ZenFone 7 counts with improved battery performance than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Asus ZenFone 7 has a greater camera than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality photos, a camera with a much higher 64 MP resolution and a way better 7680x4320 video quality.
