Comparison review
Huawei Nova 9 has a score of 81, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark's general score of 80.4. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Nova 9 has an older 11 version and Xiaomi Black Shark has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei Nova 9's construction is extremely newer, a little lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Black Shark.
Xiaomi Black Shark has a slightly better screen than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better number of pixels in each inch of screen. Xiaomi Black Shark features a bit superior processor than Huawei Nova 9. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and 8 GB of RAM memory.
The Huawei Nova 9 and Xiaomi Black Shark both feature quite similar storage for apps and games, they have the same internal storage. Huawei Nova 9 features a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Huawei Nova 9 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light captures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Huawei Nova 9 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
